General Information:
Some fields will not apply to every search, and you don't need to fill in every
field. But keep in mind that the more information you enter, the more specific
the results will be. To find the items closest to what you're looking for, fill
in as many of the fields as possible.
Use either your mouse or the TAB key to move between the search fields.
In the Price fields, commas and dollar signs are unnecessary.
You can select All in the Mfr., State, Country, Sleeper Type, Axle, or Engine
fields to search the entire list.
Mfr. Field:
In the Mfr. field you have the option to choose from a list of manufacturers or
type the name in a free-form text field. We strongly recommend choosing from
one of the selection lists whenever possible, to avoid errors due to
misspellings, etc. To use a list, scroll using the up/down arrows until you
see the selection you want; then click it. If you choose a manufacturer this
way, you do not need to type anything into the free-form text box.
Price and Year Fields:
These fields set a range in which to search. Type the minimum value in the
From field and the maximum value in the To field. (ex. Year From: 1982, Year To:
2000). If you only want to look at products below a certain price or year, leave
the From field empty and enter your maximum value in the To field.
VIN/Stock Number Fields:
When you find an item you're interested in, record the VIN or stock number. When
you return to the Web site, type it in the appropriate search field to go
directly to that listing.
Sort Order Field:
The Sort Order field is a useful tool, offering you a wide variety of ways to
display your results. Take a few minutes and try the same searches using
different sort order options to see how flexible this feature is.
Search and Cancel Buttons:
When you're finished filling in the desired search fields, simply click the
Search button at the bottom of the page. Your results will appear according to
your specifications. If you are not satisfied, go back and make adjustments
until you find what you're looking for.
Clicking the Cancel button will cancel your search and return you to the
previous page.
