Get FinancingKenworth Announces T680 Driver Academy
Training truck operators on how to drive specific vehicles is a major challenge facing the industry today. Although there certainly are similarities between different brands of trucks, it sometimes helps to get a little extra information on what makes a specific model tick. That’s why Kenworth recently introduced the T680 Driver Academy series of instructional videos that are designed to give you an in-depth overview of everything that can be done with these on-highway trucks. It’s a unique approach to training that goes beyond print manuals and online brochures to provide a visual representation of what you’ll be doing once you get into a T680.
The Drive Academy series offers videos that cover everything from a basic introduction to the vehicles and all of the more important components and then dives into specific topics like how to adjust the seat, how to fix things under the hood, how to replace headlight bulbs, and many more. New videos are being added on a regular basis to cover other models of Kenworth trucks as well, including the T880, and all of them can be used to either brush up on existing knowledge or to serve as orientation videos for adding these trucks to fleets.
As of right now, the videos are available on Kenworth’s YouTube channel, and there are plans to also offer the videos on the company’s Kenworth Essentials mobile application, which available on iOS and Android devices, in the near future.
