Customer Needs & Personalized Service Come First At Greenwood Ford
The customer comes first. That is the mantra of Greenwood Ford, a Ford dealership in Hollister, California. “We roll out the red carpet,” says General Manager Brian Greenwood. “We’re on a first-name basis with our customers. We know them, and we know their businesses. We order vehicles before they’ve even asked because we know their vehicles are coming up for replacement. That way, we have the trucks in stock for them right away.”
The company also offers mobile service to make it convenient for busy customers. “We go out to them and service their vehicles or pick up and deliver their vehicle.” Greenwood Ford also caters to customer preferences. “Everything is mobile now. That’s where the workplace is going. Everyone likes to sign their contracts on e-contracting so they can it off their iPhone if they want. We’re ready for any kind of situation for the customer.”
Integrity & Dedication
Family-owned Greenwood Ford prides itself on having a knowledgeable staff who act with integrity and work hard for their customers. “We’re a smaller store, but we want to keep it that way so we can continue providing the highest level of service. Once you go big, you’re just selling cars. You lose that personal connection,” says Brian. The business sells new trucks, SUVs, and pre-owned vehicles. It also offers full service and a well-stocked parts department.
Success With Truck Paper
Before buying the Ford store five years ago, Brian worked for a Ram truck center, where they sold over 100 commercial trucks a month. After using Truck Paper for that job, it was easy to decide to use the publication as part of the advertising strategy for commercial trucks and vans at Greenwood Ford.
Brian says the company is using Truck Paper magazine to the fullest extent and will soon expand their ad size. “We’re a new Ford store. Truck Paper really brought us to a different level and gave us nationwide exposure,” says Brian. “It escalated our sales. We probably sell five to eight extra vehicles a month through Truck Paper.”
In addition to the priceless exposure Truck Paper provides, Brian says Greenwood also receives invaluable help from their Truck Paper rep. “Connor answers his phone and gets everything we need handled. He’s on it. If we’re missing a photo or need a description, he tells us. A good rep makes a big difference.”
Ready For More
Greenwood Ford is already planning for future sales. “We ordered 100 commercial trucks for Ford Pro, including everything from Transits to F150s to F250s and all the way up to F750s,” says Brian. “With every scenario with the beds covered.”
Brian also has praise for Ford. “Ford is really going after commercial vehicle sales. That helps us, too. They take care of their customers. It’s really nice to be a Ford store.”
