This is a 40 foot trailer and you could Take a cutting torch to this trailer to make a great round hay bale feeding trailer that could be moved and would keep cattle from miring up a feeding area. I'm thinking you could cut off all these diagonal bars and leave the vertical ones and cut the top out to hold 7 or 8 round bales and you would even add another layer of bales, putting them in the cracks and as the cattle ate up the lower level they would come down and could be consumed. It is a 2 axle trailer with 8 tires so it could handle the weight. You could even tarp it to make it rain proof. It belongs to an old customer from my John Deere days and is in southern Louisiana. We can get the trailer delivered in LA, AR, MS, or East TX for a very nominal fee. As scarce as hay is in the deep South after this drought, this trailer could help out with the shortage.
