2026 Utility 3000R Refrigerated Trailer with Roll-Up Door
Built for demanding refrigerated freight applications, this 2026 Utility 3000R combines Utility’s proven refrigerated trailer construction with a highly functional roll-up rear door configuration and a strong list of premium options.
This 53' refrigerated trailer is rated for a 55,000-lb evenly distributed payload and 65,000-lb GVWR. It features Utility’s foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation system, including a 4" insulated front wall, 2" side walls, 3" roof, and 3" insulated floor to help provide excellent thermal performance throughout the trailer.
At the rear, this unit features a TODCO 2-1/2" TODCOLD insulated roll-up door, making it especially well suited for applications where frequent rear access, dock operations, or limited space make traditional swing doors less practical.
The interior is built for heavy commercial use with a 1-3/8" heavy-duty aluminum high-wear duct floor, reinforced forklift loading area, upgraded Versitex sidewall lining, 16" total-height heavy-duty wearband, and dual rows of E-track mounted at approximately 25" and 58" above the floor.
Underneath, the trailer rides on a Hendrickson ULTRAA-K air-ride slider suspension with zero-maintenance damping, Hendrickson vented axles, ConMet PreSet+ wheel ends, and a 49" axle spread. Additional upgrades include Hendrickson TIREMAAX PRO automatic tire inflation, SURELOK anti-dock walk protection, air-operated slider positioning, and Bendix ABS with roll stability.
