This frameless 39' tandem axle, 44-inch side, Featherweight trailer features Hicks' patented weld-free sidewall and floor construction. By eliminating welds in these critical structural components, Hicks avoids heat-affected zones that can alter the properties of aluminum and create stress concentrations over time. Instead, the trailer is assembled using high-strength structural fasteners—the same proven technology trusted in truck chassis and bridge construction.
The result is a lightweight, highly serviceable trailer with replaceable structural components, exceptional durability, and simplified repairs.
