The Utility 4000D-X composite sidewall system uses injected polyurethane foam bonded between the interior and exterior panels, providing a durable, lightweight wall structure designed for demanding fleet use. The interior also features anti-snag galvanized steel sidewall lining and heavy-duty wearband protection to help withstand repeated loading and unloading.
Cargo rides on a 20,000-lb rated 1-3/8" laminated hardwood floor, using factory-selected oak or sugar maple construction.
At the rear, composite swing doors feature pre-painted galvanized steel panels with a polyethylene core, stainless steel rear door case, multiple hinges, and a heavy-duty steel rear treadplate for added durability in dock operations.
The running gear includes a Hendrickson ULTRAA-K air-ride slider system, QUIK-DRAW air-operated slider release, SURELOK anti-dock walk protection, and TIREMAAX PRO automatic tire inflation, helping reduce downtime and improve fleet operating efficiency.
