A 52,000 lb rear axle on multi-leaf suspension, a 20,000 lb front axle, and a 20,000 lb steerable pusher bring the GVWR to 86,000 lbs, with a driver-controlled locking differential for traction. The Mack MP8 makes 445 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque through an Allison 4500 RDS-P, with the MP8 Powerleash auxiliary brake, air brakes, an air dryer, an engine block heater, and a 93 gal fuel tank.
