    About Krone

Krone got its start in 1906 when husband and wife Bernhard and Anna Krone built a smithy in Spelle, Germany. By 1963, Krone opened a factory in Werlte and began building agricultural trailers, tipper trailers, and platform trucks. Today Krone is a global manufacturer of trailers and agricultural equipment.

Krone semi-trailers include the Dry Liner for transporting dry freight and multiple Cool Liner models for urban and long-haul delivers plus a specialty semi-trailer for pharmaceutical products. In fact, special loads are a focus for Krone. This is shown in the company’s full range of curtainside semi-trailers, which includes the Mega Liner Automotive for accommodating various heights necessary for automotive logistics, the Paper Liner for transporting heavy paper loads, and the Coil Liner with steel coils for securing special equipment.

Krone also manufactures box liners, trailers especially designed for moving building materials, road train combination systems, and other products. On the technology side, Krone Telematics helps operators stay fully informed about the location, temperature, and technical status of their trailer and load, while Krone Telematics Reporting automates the reporting process.
