About Mac Trailer
Before becoming one of the leading semitrailer manufacturers in the U.S., Mac Trailer was a small but mighty wreck and repair shop in Alliance, Ohio. Professional welder Michael A. Conny left a local trailer company to start his own business in 1994 that produced its first steel dump trailer by 1999.

Mac Trailer Moving Floor Transfer Trailer
Today, Mac Trailer comprises six divisions that build dump and live-floor transfer trailers, flatbed and drop-deck trailers, curtainside trailers, pneumatic and liquid tank trailers, and straight truck bodies at 11 manufacturing locations in Ohio, Oklahoma, Montana, and Texas. The company’s facilities cover 1.5 million square feet (139,355 square meters) and it employs more than 1,200 people.
The Mac Trailer Lineup
Dedicated to building quality products in the U.S., Mac Trailer's original focus was manufacturing and repairing aluminum dump trailers. When opportunities to expand through targeted acquisitions presented themselves to Conny, he didn't hesitate to expand Mac Trailer product line. Under Mac Trailer's umbrella are Mac LTT, Beall, Trailstar, and 2022 acquisition Bullet Trailer.
Mac dump trailers include such industry standbys as the Mac Sheet & Post Dump and the MACsimizer Dump, both of which are built with lightweight construction to maximize their payload capacities. Both end- and bottom-dump options are available.
Mac’s flatbed offerings include the versatile Road Warrior and several multi-axle and combo flatbed offerings including the company’s MLP-6 and MLP-8 trailers with low-profile necks designed to carry heavy building materials, pipe, and other palleted freight loads.
Mac also offers low- and high-cube pneumatic tank trailers, the 1000 Cube Tank, the AeroMAC, and the 1600 Vacuum tank equipped with removable piping for safe, convenient cleaning.
The Mac LTT liquid tank trailer division produces aluminum and stainless-steel trailers for hauling everything from petroleum and petrochemical products to dry bulk loads. There are Mac LTT trailers for transporting hot products, vacuum tank trailers, and food-grade loads.
Mac builds a variety of transfer trailers, including Mac Lite moving floor models and tippers and drop-deck moving floor and tipper options ranging in length from 42 to 53 ft (12.8 to 16.2 m). The manufacturer’s moving floor trailers are built with V-Slat steel floors and the Keith Walking Floor system, which can be used to unload sand, aggregate, rock, or asphalt, and provide greater stability during unloads than tipping trailers.
Finally, although “trailer” is in its name, Mac Trailer also builds straight truck bodies featuring the manufacturer’s Maclock side panel design that Mac says combines strength and light weight for optimal payloads. The panels are weld-free externally and boast double-wall construction that protects the body’s exterior from impact marks on the inside that might otherwise dent and distort finishes including graphics and/or your logo.
