    The Morgan Corporation was originally founded by Elton E. Mountz in 1952 in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, as Mountz Welding. And while it started off as a modest shop, the opening of the Pennsylvania Turnpike coupled with other factors ultimately led to quick expansion as well as a focus on trailer and truck repair and refurbishing. The company was renamed Morgan Trailer Mfg. Co. in 1960 and a decade later, the company added on a new painting facility as well as a 40,000 square foot manufacturing space to its footprint. Today, the company manufactures trailers and truck bodies for a wide range of industries and has facilities in Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, California, and other states.
