Hoist & Lift Options

Some roll-off trailers have an electric or hydraulic winch to hoist the roll-off container onto a tilting bed, while Others utilize a hooklift mechanism driven by hydraulic cylinders. The hooklift is an articulated arm that connects to a lift bar on the container’s frame, and the hydraulic system lifts the container onto the trailer. Both hoist and lift roll-off trailers are equipped with locking mechanisms that prevent the container from moving forward, backward, or side to side. Roll-off trailers can also be equipped with flatbed or dump attachments to give them even greater utility.

There are also double-container roll-off trailers that can haul one longer container or two shorter ones; these typically have more axles and can support higher weight ranges than single-container roll-off trailers.
