Although other types of box trucks (such as cutaway-cube, dry cargo delivery, and moving trucks) are often medium- or even light-duty trucks, dry van trucks and straight trucks are generally heavy-duty vehicles, classified either as Class 7 or Class 8 vehicles. They have a cargo box attached to the chassis behind the cab that often measures 20 feet (6.1 meters) long or longer and 8 to 10 ft (2.4 to 3 m) tall. Depending on the model, the body may have a roll-up or swing rear door, curbside door, and/or roadside door.
