    About Oshkosh

Although the company’s name and composition has changed quite a bit through the years, Oshkosh has always been focused on one thing: making the highest quality severe duty trucks. The company originally started out as the Wisconsin Duplex Auto Company, but it’s safe to say it has come a long way since then. Today, the Oshkosh Corporation is a parent company for quite a few well-known brands, including JLG Industries, Pierce, McNeilus, IMT, Frontline Communications, the Concrete Equipment Company (CON-E-CO), London, and Jerr-Dan, as well as main brand offshoots like Oshkosh Defense and Oshkosh Airport Products.

Oshkosh Defense sells light tactical vehicles, medium tactical vehicles, mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicles, heavy tactical vehicles, aircraft rescue and fire-fighting (ARFF) vehicles, and general vehicle systems. And as for the Oshkosh Airport Products brand, you’ll find primarily ARFF vehicles and snow trucks. The Striker 8x8 is one of that brand’s newest products and it’s built specifically for responding to emergencies on the tarmac. On TruckPaper.com, you’ll find Oshkosh trucks for sale that come from previous eras for the company and cover more vocations.
