    About Roll-off Trailers

    Benlee Super Mini Roll-Off Trailer

Roll-off semi-trailers provide a quick, easy way to load and unload roll-off containers, which are employed on a wide variety of construction and landscaping jobsites. These rugged open containers are ideal for temporarily storing demolition debris, new construction waste, roofing materials, and yard waste and then hauling them to disposal sites. A roll-off container can also be utilized to deliver aggregate and building materials. Construction crew and service providers typically back up the roll-off trailer to a waiting container and use the trailer’s built-in hoist and tilting bed or hydraulic lift to pick it up.

    Hoist & Lift Options

Some roll-off trailers have an electric or hydraulic winch to hoist the roll-off container onto a tilting bed, while Others utilize a hooklift mechanism driven by hydraulic cylinders. The hooklift is an articulated arm that connects to a lift bar on the container’s frame, and the hydraulic system lifts the container onto the trailer. Both hoist and lift roll-off trailers are equipped with locking mechanisms that prevent the container from moving forward, backward, or side to side. Roll-off trailers can also be equipped with flatbed or dump attachments to give them even greater utility.

    Single & Double Container Capacities

Roll-off containers are often built with volumes of 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 cubic yards (7.5, 11.5, 15, 23, and 30.5 cubic meters) and lengths ranging from 14 to 22 feet (4 to 7 meters). There are also double-container roll-off trailers that can haul one longer container or two shorter ones; these typically have more axles and can support higher weight ranges than single-container roll-off trailers.
