Sleeper trucks, designed for long-haul trips, feature an extra compartment to the rear of the cab that is generally outfitted with a bunk, a refrigerator, storage space, and other amenities where the driver can relax and sleep through the night while on routes scheduled to last more than a day. Large comfortable beds, double bunks, and Murphy-style arrangements are available while the living space is further enhanced by dimmable lighting, stowable tables or dinettes with additional seating, and ample storage.
