Transcraft was established in 1962 and is now a major subsidiary of Wabash National with access to the semi-trailer manufacturer’s product development resources, dealer network, and warranty service, among others. In 2010, Transcraft consolidated its operations in Cadiz, Kentucky on a $3 million manufacturing facility. The state-of-the-art base of operations includes a 12,000 square-foot painting facility for platform trailers. The painting process includes a proprietary 2K zinc and urethane premium coating that provides four times the corrosion resistance of conventional industry painting processes.
