The Ancra 7.3mm-10mm Folding Handle Ratchet Loadbinder with Grab Hooks is a ratchet-style chain binder sized for 7.3mm to 10mm Grade 70 transport chain, with a handle that folds flat when not in use so the unit stores more compactly on a truck or in a toolbox. The ratchet mechanism — gear, pawl, and handle — tensions chain smoothly and progressively, which is easier on the operator and safer to release than lever-style loadbinders because the handle does not store as much energy under tension. Forged steel winged grab hooks on each end seat onto chain links with cradles that prevent chain deformation and preserve the chain's full lashing capacity. Manufactured from steel with a powder-coated blue finish, rated to a 6,000kg lashing capacity, and built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001.
