A Lowboy For Asphalt Pavers & Rollers
Trail King is showing off its new Hydraulic Detachable Gooseneck (HDG) Paver Special at the World of Asphalt convention. On the HDG Pavel Special, Trail King combines a low load angle (11 degrees) with 42-inch (107-centimeter) spring assist front ramps and a tapered deck to more easily load asphalt pavers and rollers. Trail King further improves the open deck’s transition with an 18-degree extended transition slope.
Versatile Design
"The Trail King 110 HDG Paver Special offers incredible flexibility, said Barry Freifeld, director of sales at Trail King, in a news release. “With the removable center insert, customers can move their paver then remove the insert and haul their excavator with just one trailer." Trail King also designs the HDG Pavel Special with an adjustable arch gooseneck for increased truck and fender clearance. The lowboy’s open frame construction includes a 4-beam tapered deck. The trailer has a load capacity of 55 tons (49,895 kilograms) distributed or 51 tons (46,266 kilograms) in 16 feet (4.9 meters). Visit the Trail King website for additional specifications.
