Although Strick Corporation was officially founded in 1966, the company dates back to the 1930s when Frank Strick developed the first “frameless” monocoque trailer with body panels providing primary structural integrity, as opposed to the internal frame, to allow for a bigger, lighter trailer. In the 1960s, Strick was famous for its Flexi-Van container system used by the New York Central Railroad. The company introduced another big trailer innovation, ArmorPlate, in the 1980s and served as the first plate trailer design.

More recently, Strick has set its products apart by designing in aluminum scuff linings and split-wire electrical harnesses. The former minimizes forklift damage to trailers, while the latter makes for fewer connection points and fewer electrical shorts. In October 2017, Strick Trailers opened a 44,000-square-foot production line for its custom trailer business. The company equipped this second production line with cutting-edge technology, improving the quality of its trailers and increasing the speed at which Strick can build a custom trailer.

You’ll find hundreds of new and used Strick trailers for sale on TruckPaper.com, including dry van trailers, intermodal storage container chassis, pup trailers, dolly trailers, and more.
