Ditch Witch Offers Certified Training Program For Vacuum Excavator Operators
Ditch Witch, a Perry, Oklahoma,-based manufacturer of drilling equipment, vacuum excavators, trenchers, mini-skid steers, and more, recently introduced the Ditch Witch Certified Vacuum Excavation Training program, which is designed to educate vacuum excavator operators about safety and performance best practices.
An Old Dog Learns New Tricks
According to Greg Wolfe, the director of training for Ditch Witch, vacuum excavation is being used to tackle a wider variety of applications on the jobsite than ever before, and operators need to be ready to rise to the challenge. “With our new vacuum excavation training courses, operators will receive an advanced education to safely and effectively use the machines for new and traditional applications.”
Ditch Witch has created a comprehensive training program that offers a range of benefits for both novice and expert operators. Students will get detailed instruction on a variety of topics, including how to use vacuum excavation equipment, the key functions of the newest machines, a variety of possible applications, proper safety procedures, tooling selection, advanced equipment controls, and best practices. Ditch Witch offers the training program online, and enrollees can complete the coursework from any Internet-connected PC, laptop, or mobile device. Upon completion, participants can print off a Ditch Witch Certified Training certificate, suitable for framing or mounting on the refrigerator.
Ditch Witch dealers also offer an instructor-led classroom-style version of the course, or hands-on training at the jobsite. Customers interested in the training can sign up from their MyDitchWitch online account, from among the Ditch Witch customer productivity tools.
